Raffle Ticket Winner Announced!

Big thanks to EVERYONE who attended last night’s Portland GiveBack Function.  So far we have collected over $1500 cash for the Humane Society, the raffle was a success!  This is an early count as we are still waiting for the additional online donations to clear and our artist’s total.  If you would like to make a donation through the Portland GiveBack go directly to our donation page.

Oregon Humane Society Benefit is right around the corner!

Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 5:30pm-10pm we welcome you to join us here at the NE Portland branch of Oregon First for a benefit supporting the Oregon Humane Society.

Enjoy stunning art work by Chris Nelson.  Her pet portraits are so life-like you just may want to commission her to capture your furry friend.  Chris has graciously agreed to donate 50% off all sales and scheduled commission work to the Humane Society!

Raffle prizes make any party more fun!  The $1.00 raffle is your ticket to win an iPod Touch.  The best part…100% of raffle money collected goes straight to the Humane Society.  Check back here or the Portland GiveBack Facebook page the day after the event to see if you had the winning ticket!

Did we mention that the food and wine is free?  Great Escape Catering’s Executive Chef, James Hanset is sure to impress.   Bring your appetite because you will not want to miss any of the goodies he has planned for the evening.

P:EAR has been choosen as the May 2012 non-profit benificiary

We are thrilled to announce p:ear as our May 2012, benefiting non-profit.  P:ear Mentoring prides itself in building positive relationships with homeless and transitional youth, ages 15 to 24, through education, art and recreation to affirm personal worth and create more meaningful and healthier lives. Each year their programs serve almost 900 homeless and transitional young people.  This is exactly the kind of program that Portland GiveBack is proud to support.

A Proud Moment For Portland GiveBack’s Rex Buchanan

Portland GiveBack was the special surprise at Community Warehouse’s 2011 Chair Event.  Rex Buchanan, founder of Portland GiveBack and Principal Broker here at Oregon First presented a check for $1665 to Community Warehouse.  The $1665 was money raised from the September 2011 Portland GiveBack event.  A combination of art sales & donations made this all possible.
