Call for Artists!
Each year Portland GiveBack hosts quarterly events the last Thursday of the month in January, May and September. Artists are needed for upcoming events.
Art show will coincide with a quarterly fundraiser for a local non-profit for the event hosted in the NE Branch of Oregon First. Half of the proceeds from artwork sold will go to benefit the local non-profit and the artist keeps the other half.
This open house style party will be marketed to the community and artwork will be on display for about 1 month prior and 2-3 months after the event.
Ideal candidate will have:
- A reasonably sized portfolio for display (15-25 pieces depending on size – enough to fill space)
- Price ranges and price points on a majority of pieces that allow for casual buyers ($10-$500)
- A sphere of people that would attend and support both the artist, the event and the non-profit
- Public speaking skills as we asked you to speak about your work during the event
- A great attitude and love for the Portland Community
- Donate 50% of sales directly to the non-profit! (Price works accordingly)
